How to use

1. Printed code ≠ part number

SMD parts are too small for their full name, so the maker prints a short code on the body. The same part can carry different codes on different packages, and one short code can belong to several unrelated parts.

2. How to search

• Type the characters printed on the part into the single search box — code or part number, either works.
• Dashes and spaces do not matter: SOT-23-5 = SOT23-5 = SOT 23 5.
• Drop trailing lowercase letters or dots — they are usually a date/lot code, not part of the marking.
• Characters that are easy to misread: 0/O, 1/I/l, 5/S, 8/B. The code may also be printed upside down.

3. One code, many results

Short codes (1–3 characters) are shared by many parts. Compare with the part on your board: package and pin count first, then the circuit around it. Use the package filter above the results.

4. Package (kiểu chân)

The package is the body shape and pin layout (SOT-23, SOD-123, SOIC-8…). The package library shows a drawing, dimensions and alternative names for each one. Package library →

"unknown" means the package has not been confirmed yet — the code is still searchable.

5. Datasheet

Open the datasheet from the part page. The original manufacturer PDF is shown unmodified; use "Download original PDF" to save it.

6. Found a mistake?

Use "Wrong or missing information? Tell us" at the bottom of each part page. Reports are reviewed before anything is changed.
